About Insight Regulatory: Set up in 2018 to provide small and medium companies in the financial services and banking sector with practical, pragmatic and effective compliance, risk and regulatory advice. They focus on helping clients put in place the right governance, processes and reporting to ensure they remain compliant at all times with stringent UK and global regulations.
About Cerberus: To support their work Insights had created their own MVP platform called Cerberus, designed to help financial institutions remain fully compliant with the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) rules. The platform provides real time compliance activity monitoring and reporting, simplified control of staff certification as well as mapping and tracking of governance roles and responsibilities.
The Challenge: Insight needed a local partner who could deploy, operate, support and further develop Cerberus. This would need to be done in a highly secure way given the sensitive nature of the data as well as being robust and scalable to support many users across multiple clients.
The Solution: Maly quickly understood the Cerberus design and architected a solution to host is securely on AWS. Having deployed it they then put in place the operational and support services required to make it robust and reliable solution. Maly also created a “sandpit” test version used to develop and test new features such as additional audit reporting, improved email certification and improved notifications of overdue compliance steps.
The Result: Insight now had a robust, reliable and scalable version of their Cerberus platform to use with their financial services customers as well as an expert technical team in place to be able to support any demonstrations or implementations that they secured as a result of their business development activities.

About PD Tax: Operating from Leeds and Manchester PD Tax provide specialist tax advice and guidance to clients across the UK. Drawing on significant experience gained in the big 4 consulting firms the team guide and advise their clients on ethical tax planning and problem solving.
The Challenge: Having grown significantly in terms of revenues and customers PD Tax wanted to transfer their CRM and Client Projects from their current solution (based on their early choice of Capsule CRM) to a more scalable, cost effective and robust model that gave them flexibility and control. They wanted to backup their data to Sharepoint internally combined with an external cloud solution based on FYI. Unfortunately, their customer contact, lead emails and project files were locked up in the current solution and proving difficult to extract and transfer. They needed someone who could securely extract their sensitive data from the current solution and transfer it to their internal SharePoint for subsequent upload to the new FYI based solution.
The Solution: Maly created a highly secure automated solution to extract the data from Capsule CRM and transfer it in the right format and to the right place in their SharePoint system for subsequent upload to the new CRM and Project tracking solution based on FYI. This saved PD Tax a significant amount of manual work and ensured the data was transferred efficiently and securely.
The Result: PD Tax now have all of their client and lead contact data as well as project information in the internal SharePoint and are no longer dependent on the external Capsule platform. They can transfer the data to FYI when they are ready and have a secure backup of all their important client and project data.
